Hydrogenated Vegetable Glycerides Citrate is an esterified mixture of hydrogenated vegetable glycerides and citric acid. In cosmetics, it is used as an emollient, stabilizer, and co-emulsifier. It improves the texture and stability of emulsions, prevents oil- and water-based ingredients from separating, and contributes to a smooth, supple application on the skin. Hydrolyzed jojoba esters are derived from jojoba oil, which is extracted from the seeds of the jojoba plant (Simmondsia chinensis). It is an excellent moisturizer and, when combined with glycerin, provides moisture for at least 24 hours. (1-2)
