Potassium Hydrolyzed Polygamma-Glutamate is the potassium salt of hydrolyzed polyglutamic acid, a biopolymer derived from fermentation consisting of cross-linked glutamic acid units. Thanks to its low molecular weight, this active ingredient penetrates the skin easily and hydrates it. It does so by utilizing two complementary mechanisms: it supports the body’s own hyaluronic acid in the epidermis while simultaneously increasing natural moisturizing factors (NMFs).
