ACETYL DIPEPTIDE-1 CETYL ESTER

Acetyl Dipeptide-1 Cetyl Ester is a synthetically produced, acetylated dipeptide ester. In cosmetics, it is primarily used as a skin-care well-aging ingredient, as it specifically helps to firm the skin structure. The dipeptide not only promotes the synthesis of elastin, but also supports the functional organization of elastic fibers. Studies have shown that it stimulates key structural proteins that are responsible for the mechanical stability of the tissue. This gives the skin greater elasticity and makes it more resistant to sagging and external stress. (1-2)
