Acacia Decurrens (also known as mimosa wax), or black acacia, belongs to the Fabaceae family. The lipids from the flower extract provide skin-conditioning and occlusive effects. Acacia Decurrens Wax contains a mixture of free fatty acids, saturated monoesters, and a large amount of odd-chain hydrocarbons. As a wax, it possesses skin-protecting and film-forming properties.(1)
